A more conversational writing sample to a different audience—my Pre-AP Freshman English students at Allen High School. Absolutely fantastic kids. . . not completely, of course (and neither was their teacher), but they and my Writing Strategies students brought so much joy, laughter, and craziness into my life that I can never thank them enough.
