(Note: Because much of my corporate work was proprietary, I can't show you everything I have. However, I'll list examples of my work, and you're welcome to contact me with questions.)

Hewlett-Packard (HP) Enterprise Services Worldwide Marketing websites

  • Reviewed design and edited content of Self-Provisioning Sales Pursuit Microsite “wizard” tool.

  • Edited content of client-facing site pages the tool produced, including Welcome, About HP, Solutions, Operational Excellence, Employee Transition, Transition/Transformation, Cost Savings, and Best Shore sections. Edited marketing content and cross checked with other HP Marketing teams to verify accuracy; several teams updated their materials based on my edits.

  •  Updated, revalidated, and created content for two other HP internal websites:

    • HP Enterprise Services (new name for EDS after HP acquired it in 2009)

    • HP Worldwide Marketing Dashboard

Gordon Technical Consulting Inc. (GTCI) website—I originally created content for the GTCI website but was also asked by the CEO to design and create this interim site while the he looked for a long-term web design firm. (GTCI delivered technical expertise in training, course development, document development, and network engineering services for telecommunications manufacturers and service providers around the globe.)

EDS Web Standards site—I wrote and edited content for more than 70 website standards and best practices for EDS-developed internal and client websites worldwide. Standards covered a full range of issues including website content, usability, visual design, functionality, and accessibility to disabled web users. This 11-page sample is one of 70+ standards I reviewed and edited—showing my edits and comments using MS Word's track changes feature.

McIntoshWriting.com—The site you’re using now… built from scratch, with no outside help. I’m using a SquareSpace template that I completely overhauled and made my own. (I used FrontPage on many sites I built over the years for clients and for earlier versions of McIntosh Writing.)

Allen Eagle Touchdown Club (TDC) (Allen, Texas, High School's football booster club, 2011-12, the first two seasons 2018 Heisman Trophy winner Kyler Murray played here)—As a member of the Touchdown Club, I volunteered to completely revise the website in late summer 2011 and maintain it throughout the school year. In the preseason rankings in late August, Allen was ranked as the number-one 5A team in Texas (largest school division, now 6A) by the Associated Press and sixth in the nation by Rivals.com. Allen won the largest-division Texas State Championship in 2008, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2017.

The Visual Bible™ (Visual Entertainment, Inc., an international film company based in Dallas, Texas; 1999-2000)—I wrote and edited content and designed/maintained the site. This company filmed and released “The Gospel of John” full-length movie in theaters across the USA in 2003, starring Henry Ian Cusick (who played Desmond Hume in the “Lost” television series).
